Tonight is the art auction at Georgia Scherman Projects and I'm feeling calm and ready.
We went out to an opening last night and I cut myself off of the white wine at 10 so I could be bright and chipper tonight.
There is nothing worse than feeling hungover at a social event...I have a hard time being social for any great length of time as it is.
I was never that person that stayed at the party until 5 am. In fact, I am known for my "French Exit" prowess.
I like to leave a party at the right moment. In the immortal words of the masterful poet Kenneth Ray Rogers, "you gotta know when to fold 'em, know when to walk away."
Speaking of "The Gambler," that is my niece Edith M.'s new favorite song to sing from Rock Band. You should hear her go to town on the chorus, way adorable.
Anyhoo, I'll ketchup with y'all tomorrow!
