Sweater Love.

I kind of have an obsession with sweaters and sweater tags.
Even if I'm sorting through a pile of a hundred sweaters, I have to look at every single tag.
Psychotic, I know. I just like the old-timey classic brand labels. I even modeled my own label after this type of design. Check this inspirational little collection:

I found this perfect guy last week. Great shape, colour, vintage-ness:

Here's me wearing Monsieur Chartreuse:

I also have a thing for sweater skirts. This one is exceptional:

Again, the label can make it or break it:

Fits like a dream:

One Of A Kind-of.

Yesterday me and my friend Sarah went to the One Of A Kind Show- mainly to spy on what other people are doing. That's just how we roll. As usual, most of the stuff was whateves with a few standout exceptions. Our friend Meghan had an awesome booth where she was selling her line of bags and accesories called Jack and Marjorie.

She uses army surplus supplies like wool blankets, tents and duffel bags to make these intricate and beautiful purses:

After walking around the entire show I wanted to have a nap behind this door:

A few years ago, I saw these puppets at the Tranzac show on Bloor Street and I've never forgotten them. They are handmade by a girl named Kelly Kirkham and you can read about them on her blog here.

Look how amazing this is:

My favorite:

These cement things are legendary to me. They are made by an artist who shall remain nameless because Sarah told me I couldn't be mean about anyone at the show. But...OMG...these blow my mind in so many different ways. Every year we look for this booth:

Um, toes and toothbrushes? Not a good mix:

It's a wall breast and a key holder:

Uhhh....

Yes, this is a belly button:

There is also cement genitalia but, haven't you seen enough?

The only thing I got all day was a free razor. Sarah bought a cute dress from Passenger Pigeon.
The end.

Christmas wish list.

Whoa!

I just saw Sean Kingston on Regis and Kelly and although his performance was a bit meh, he was wearing the best bling ever. And you thought the whole diamond pendant/as big as your head/ridiculous shapes craze was over.......

BAM! A diamond encrusted Crayola box:

I did some digging around and found this also:

Why not glorify your sedentary lifestyle with a white gold and black diamond Playstation controller!!

And for the pious but ostentatious person in your life:

A beautiful jewel covered Jesus head. This is how you express your devotion to God- it's what Jesus would have wanted. I love his diamond-y flowing locks!

Santa, are you listening?????
